Each step lives in the dashboard. Nothing changes on your storefront until the script tag is in the theme, and if Sable is ever unreachable the button falls back to Shopify's own checkout.
Connect your Shopify store
Create a custom app in Shopify's Dev Dashboard and paste its client id and secret. Sable mints its own Admin tokens and Storefront token from them; secrets are encrypted at rest.
Connect your Whop account
Paste the company id and an API key. One click registers the webhook that turns a Whop payment into an order, and the card processing agreement stays between you and Whop.
Point checkout.yourstore.com at Sable
Add one CNAME at your DNS provider. The certificate is issued automatically once it resolves, and buyers never leave your domain.
Add one line to your theme
Paste the script tag into theme.liquid. From then on the checkout button hands the cart to Sable, priced live by Shopify's Storefront API.

Priced by Shopify, live
Shipping for the buyer's address, tax the way your store charges it and discount codes, whether applied on the storefront or entered at checkout, all come from the Storefront API at checkout time. Nothing is re-entered or guessed.
Orders land in Shopify as paid
When Whop confirms the payment, the matching Shopify order is created as paid with the whop gateway, so fulfilment and customer emails carry on untouched. Never twice: the payment id is unique per order.
Refunds and disputes, both ways
A refund on Whop is mirrored into Shopify; a refund in the Shopify admin is sent to Whop. A lost chargeback cancels and restocks the order, and dispute alerts under a threshold you set are refunded before the chargeback lands.
Google Ads, server-side
Click ids are captured in a first-party cookie on the storefront and paid orders are uploaded as conversions through Google's Data Manager API, sharing the order id with the thank-you page tag so nothing double-counts.
Your pixels keep firing
Checkout has moved off Shopify, so Sable's storefront pixel reports product views, add-to-carts, checkouts and purchases to Meta, TikTok and GA4 for you. Your ads keep learning from real sales.

Typeface, logo, colours, section order, copy and the order summary, previewed live on the real checkout and thank-you page as you type. Serve it from your own domain with one CNAME.

What merchants ask before switching

Yes. Payments are processed by Whop into an account that is yours; Sable never holds funds. You connect it with the company id and an API key, and the payment webhook is registered for you from the Connections page.
Everything except charge the card. Your storefront, products, inventory, shipping rates, taxes, discount codes, orders, fulfilment and customers all stay in Shopify. The checkout reads prices from your store at checkout time and writes each paid order back.
Yes. When Whop sends payment.succeeded, the order is created through the Admin API as paid, with the tax and shipping lines copied from the cart, so it flows into fulfilment like any other order.
Both directions, never twice. A refund made on Whop is mirrored into Shopify; a refund made in the Shopify admin is sent to Whop. A lost dispute cancels and restocks the Shopify order, and you can set a threshold under which dispute alerts are refunded immediately so the chargeback never lands.
Shipping rates, taxes and the market currency are quoted by Shopify at checkout. Codes applied on the storefront are carried across, and buyers can enter a code in the order summary on the checkout itself.
The theme snippet captures gclid, gbraid, wbraid and UTM parameters in a first-party cookie, and paid orders are uploaded to Google Ads from the server, de-duplicated with the thank-you page tag by order id. Meta, TikTok and GA4 receive their events from Sable's storefront pixel.
Not yet. Every order is a one-time payment through your Whop account; Shopify selling plans are not handed off.
Any time. Remove the script tag from the theme, or pause the store in Settings: a paused store refuses hand-offs and the checkout button goes back to Shopify's own checkout on the next click.
